Yes. you can bring bottled water; but why? The ships water is just as good or better than bottled water.
You can bring a large bottle and refill it with the ship's water. Stick it in the frig or use ice for a glass at a time.

We drink a LOT of water and I am thinking more for when we go onto the islands to the beach - we could bring water bottles. They are available on board however i'm under the impression you need to buy them right?
Yes, if you buy them onboard, they can be pretty pricy, but are available. I have to agree with the previous poster, the tap water is perfectly fine, you may want to give that a try.
I agree; we took a 12 pk. of water onboard for a 15 day Hawaiian cruise. By the end of the trip we had 10 bottles left. This time we are buying 2 bottles when we board and refilling them as needed.
How many times have we boarded a bus for a tour of city, island, whatever and the driver comes through the coach and presents each passenger with a FREE bottle of commercial drinking water. The price of the tour is very nominal yet we receive this gift.
Considering the amount of money one forks over to the cruise lines for passage, one would think that, at least the first bottle of commercial drinking water placed in your stateroom could be on the house...
On our last cruise we talked to a guy on the last night and he just found out that all the bottled water him and his family used from his stateroom ran $7.00 a bottle. Over $200.00 for the week for water! It pays to check your onboard account nightly. As for us we have the cabin steward clear out the mini bar and all water bottles on our first day.
