I love the Caribe cabins because you have a larger balcony and it is half open half private. The only thing with longer cruises, there is no couch to relax on so we usually book a mini-suite. Enjoy the Hawaii cruise. We did it Feb 08 on the Diamond and look forward to doing it again.
We are in C605 on the Golden to Hawaii in January - you are about 10 down from us (towards the aft). I think these cabins should be great - the balcony is large and partially covered.
I just pulled out my paperwork from a past cruise to verify my memory, and found that we sailed to the Mexican Riviera on this ship and in this same cabin in November 2007. We were very happy with the location, and loved the extra space on the balcony.
It's close to the aft elevators and stairs, which is handy for getting up to the Horizon Court. Here's a tip - aft of the Horizon Court is a mostly-covered deck area with tables and chairs, which we found was a great place to have breakfast. It overlooks the Terrace Pool, and has a nice view of the ship's wake.
We're doing the Hawaii sailing again next March (3rd time) and can't wait to see the enhancements added on the Golden when she was in drydock.
