can/does princess provide an iron if you want to take care of your own clothes or do you have to send the item(s) to be pressed?

No irons are allowed in cabins due to fire hazard but they do have self service laundry rooms. The sslr on the Diamond had 4 ironing board and irons with 5 washers and dryers. We brought our own detergent and fabric softner. This was a 15 day cruise so it really came in handy and convenient.

Irons and ironing boards are available for use in their laundry rooms. There should be one on each passenger deck.
