Golden Princess--Dining Question

I have a question. I'm going on a 14-day Hawaiin Cruise myself in October on the Golden princess and i've never been on a cruise before. I don't understand how the dining works. Is all the food included? I see some of the restaurants have a surcharge...do you pay the surcharge and then it's all-you-can-eat at the restaurant? And the cost of eating in the dining room and the pizzeria and hamburger/hot dog grill is all included in the cost of the cruise? What about room service--is it included in the price of the cruise?

The meals in the main dining room and buffet are included in your cruise price. If you make reservations for a speciality restaurant, that is extra and its not all you can eat, although I highly doubt you will be hungry after one of those meals.

As for room service, its also included, but you'd need to tip the person who brings it a few dollars when they bring up the food.

While on the ship, other than some minor tips, all your charges go on your sign/sail card and will be charged to your credit card, you don't need much cash while onboard.
