Default BG Catagory or upgrade to Rivera

I selected a BG Balcony guarantee, I was just infomed we got an upgrade to the Riveria deck, #626 on the Ruby Princess. I have concerns about being under the lido deck as far as the noise factor in our cabin and on the balcony. Can anyone share their experiences. Would you take the Rivera over the Baja?

I always try to get a cabin on a deck that has one deck between the Lido
and one deck above the promenade deck.
