Princess Emerald and portside balcony room smoking side?
I've heard smoking is allowed on the balconies portside. Just booked our first cruise on Princess (Emerald). Have a portside balcony room. Being nonsmokers is the port side the smoking side of the ship? Are people allowed to smoke in their room or balconies only on Princess? Would like advice so if we have to move we have time to do so.
If your room has an odor, which most don't since there is always a positive air exchange 24/7, you can request the cabin steward use the ozone cleaner for a few hours to get rid of the smell. 99% of the times the room will be OK & not need any cleaning.
Most of the problems with smoke seem to come from having smokers next door when using the balcony, which can be a headache---
and always in the casino.
