Luncheon with the Captain n the Ruby Princess

I have a question about the Ruby for someone who has been on her lately. Are they having the special luncheon with the Captain or the special cocktail party for the 40 most traveled passengers?

Yes they still do the luncheon (or cocktail party) on the Ruby for the top 40 cruisers. It's varies depending on the discretion of the Captain. On a previous recent Ruby cruise the cutoff was around 300 days.

which would have knocked us off the list. The top cruiser had around 1,800 days aboard.

On 2 recent Ruby cruises the cutoff was 275 days & 290 days. The cutoff seems to be getting higher & higher lately.

With their Biggest Boo Boo so far on our 14th November cruise by holding the thing in the Atrium!!! of all places .... seems they got the message though because they have now reverted it back to the Fusion bar.....
