Smile Crown Princess 2/6/10 Anytime Dining

We've already made our reservations and we "Don't" have a reservation for the early dinner. It says on "Waitlist".........If we do go to the Anytime dining do we have to make a reservation first? Or can we just walk in?

Anyone heard of smartcruiser.com?

Thank you

We love Anytime Dining because you can just walk in ! Okay, some nights you might be given a buzzer and have to wait 10-15 minutes (usually Formal nights), but we like the freedom of not having to eat at a certain time and with the same people every night.

Other people love the Traditional Dining. I think everyone should try both and see what's good for them .

It's true that you can just walk in but if you try that at 6:30 to 7:00 on most nights & want a table for 2 be prepared to wait around an hour to be seated. They usually don't take reservations for anything between 6 PM & 8PM so you'll just have to show up & get a beeper. If you dine early or very late then there was never any wait.

you are waitlisted for early seating, traditional dining, correct? if you really want that, have your ta check up on it for you a few times before you cruise, if you are still waitlisted at departure, when you board and get settled go see the Maitre D, there are usually some passengers who will cancel traditional dining and you could get their slot. As for anytime dining, i belive but am not positive that you can make reservations for dinner from your cabin or you can even establish a standing reservation, again ask the Maitre D once onboard

Fern,
That sounds great! So anytime dining is still in the dining Rm? For all these yrs we have had the early seating....time for a change!! We'll go around 6pm so we won't have to wait that long
