Lightbulb Ruby - solve the mystery

This picture shows an interesting feature on the foredeck of the Ruby, and I assume her sisters, but I don't see an access on the deck plans.

Is this area accessible to passengers? Is it a crew only space, or only for certain suites?

I've spent an inordinate amount of time trying to find out the answer to this question !

After all my searching, I'm going to agree with lak1. It appears to be a space reserved for crew. If it really is, I'm glad to see that they have a nice place to "unwind" ! I'd love to be forward on any ship!

Yep, I'm pretty sure its the crew area, with a small pool, etc.

The Sapphire Princess has a pool area on the foredeck also, while on a tour of the bridge one of the officers told us that is was for the crew.

Thanks folks. Very nice that they have an area like that for the crew.

If you are talking about the green area at the bow, this is for crew and entertainers only. If you are referring to the deck above the bridge, it can be accessed by anyone.

I would say that it's for the crew. I know that on the Celebrity C class ships, there is a small pool & sun area for the crew. It would be nice if all ships had such a space.
