Overnight embarkation: What's the drill - when's the drill?
Hi, our upcoming cruise lists embarkation at 6PM (18:00) on the 10th and we overnight in port and depart at 1PM (13:00) on the 11th. We are coming into port a couple of days early to enjoy one of the most beautiful cities in the world, so should be pretty much at our leisure on the 10th.
I understand that Princess does not want to have personnel at the ship for check in for 24 hours. So, am I assuming they want you checked in by 18:00. But the age old question is, when does check-in/embarkation really begin?
Once we have embarked, I assume we are pretty much free to come and go as we please until about noon the 11th - one hour before departure. Can I assume, also, that the muster drill will occur on the afternoon of the 11th?
Thanks,
