Whats the Dumbest thing you've done recently

Here is mine,
1. Didnt go through a TA
2. Didnt get Insurance
3. Booked the flight a few months ago
4. Didnt double check all the dates (can you see where Im goin with this yet)
5. Noticed that I am scheduled to come back into port on Sunday the 25th and Fly home on Saturday the 24th

Now I gotta figure this one out...Im calling Alaska air in the am to see what I can do.....shell out another 400.00 for the two of us to get home...there goes the budget.

I saw a strange one in Dallas several years ago. The people checking in at the American Airlines agent station to our left showed up with two cruise ship tickets and one airline ticket. The husband was livid. It seems that he had not checked the contents of the package delivered by his TA. It cost him a bundle but they both made it onto the flight. Check, double-check, and then check again!

There ia nothing worse than the feeling that comes over you,when you realize this kind of boo boo has been made...the whoosh as it hits the brain is torture....

Once a few years back, when I was sailing on the Gem for Cruisemates...the paper work that was sent for me, and it had the wrong date...reading it, that way, meant that I mised the ship by a day I was panicked, to the nth degree! Luckily in my case, it was their boo boo,..

There is a golden lining to this story. I contacted the airlines directly and I spoke to a woman named Joyce, she listened to my story and then informed me that there had been an error on our reservations (on their end) and since that occured she would move our return date to the 25th at NO COST WHATSOEVER woohoo, I cant begin to explain how much stress this took off of me
