Princess 2-Day vs. Full-Transit?
 

What is the difference between the '2-day' and the 'full transit' Panama Canal cruises that Princess offers?

I think the difference is that on the one day transit you don't get off the ship, you just go through the canal. On the two day, you spend one day going through the canal and another day when you can get off the ship and take an excursion.

A 2 day is a full transit with 1 day in Panama City.

Full transit the ship doesn't stop before/after the transit.

I'm not sure but I think that Princess is the only one

that does a 2 day on the canal cruises.

a full can transit will take you thru 2 sets of locks and you go from one ocean to another,your next port of call will tell you if its a full transit - Carribean to Pacific usually, a full canal transit will take a full day

A full transit is thru all the locks , four in total . A partial transit you enter on the east side.
Pass thru the Gatun locks . Cruise Gatun Lake and some people disembark to
do tours thru the canal. The the ship exits thru th Gatun locks and dock
in Cristabol ,where passengers that had tours thru the canal get back on board.

It is what I thought but the cruiselines seem to limit their information and way too much to the 'make an Ass-u-&-me' knowledge base!
