We are interested in booking a mini-suite D732 on the Star Princess. Can someone tell me if this is a good room? The deck plan says that there are 2 beds that can't be combined and only a shower and not a tub and shower. Princess said that the balcony is bigger than other minis, but is the room a bad one? Other mini categories are waitlisted, so should I book the room and try for an upgrade?
I've heard this described as a "failed handicapped" room. As the story goes, Princess designed this as a handicap room complete with a "roll in" shower (tiled room). It didn't pass some sort of standards test and was not deemed as handicap capable. Use any search engine. Put in "Star Princess" and "D732". There are some sad stories...
