Is it true that Princess has an 'unlimited' baggage allowance?? That sounds too good to be true (I can't find anything on the internet that confirms that and my travel agent has yet to reply to my inquiry). Any ideas?
I have not heard of a baggage limit on any line. If you drive to a port you can pack your closet, but, if you are flying, the added expense of extra, and or, overweight fees, can really be a hit to the pocketbook. Remember too, there is limited room to store extra luggage, once the under the bed space is utilized.
Most cruisers are packing lighter nowadays.

Trip is right the cruise line's capacity for baggage is only limited by the storage space available....UK lines specify no item should weigh more than 23 KG's (about 50 lbs) for health & safety reasons. Airlines however are different....very different!! so your TA may say no limit on the ship BUT if you are flying.....
