The last cruise I took was on the Princess Crown. They did not have any heineken or Corona on the ship (my favorites, of course). Is this standard with Princess? I also noticed that their other beer was "navy beer" and had a lower alcohol content than what is sold on land in the States. I will be cruising on the Caribbean Princess next year.
For shame Princess!!! How can you NOT have Corona?? On the Carnival Magic, they served their own branded beer, and the ran out in a couple of days...they airlifted it in! I missed it...grrrr..Princess could do better for all the loyal Corona fans!
Never heard of Navy Beer...have you tried Sierrra Summerfest? Princess could try that one!

"Navy beer" is not a brand, it is just an expression. I actually drank Budweiser but it had a lower alcohol content than what is sold on land. Never tried Sierra Summerfest...??
I think that Navy beer is 3.2 (3.2% alcohol) beer, which used to be served in the PX on military bases. Don't know if it still is.
I thought that Princess did serve heinekin, but not Corona, instead serving Dos Eqis (sp?). Could be wrong. But they do serve my favorite, Bass Ale, which I can't get on Celebrity. While I enjoy Corona, their commercials are better than their beer!
I started a beer thread a while back, with many great suggestions. Summerfest is one of the beachy type beers..that's what I call them, like Sam Adams Seasonal, etc... this is Summerfest:
It would be interesting to know, how what beer wine and spirits, make it to the bars onboard a ship. One would think, with Corona's huge popularity, it would be a no brainer. Maybe Kuki, who owned a bar, might know.
