coral princess or island princess

what are the differences between these two ships?

which would you recommend?

we are looking at the panama cruise out of fort lauderdale

would one ship be less crowded at the pools?

The two ships are literally a carbon copy of one another. In addition to the same dimensions, they each both sail the Panama Canal and Alaska. The Island Princess is newer by about 6 months.

Same except for the casino. The Coral has an English theme, the Island a French.. Both are usually sold out so the capacity is the same..

Sailed both within six months. No difference between them except the casino . I can't remember where both had Movie Under the Stars (MUTS)
Also they might of had different specialty restaurants as well.

Do the mini-suites on the Coral have hand -held showers?

Thanks...
