Singapore to Vancouver April 2012

Hi............... Help on a couple of fronts please !

We'll be on the Diamond Princess April 15 for the 35 day trip to Vancouver. While we have cruised several times the 35 days are a bit intimidating! Lots of activities on board to ward off cabin fever?

We'll be spending a couple of days on the way to Singapore in Tokyo. Any recommendations re reasonably priced hotels near Narita airport? We'll also have a couple of nights pre-cruise in Singapore. Again....... any recommendations on reasonably priced hotels in Singapore and which area should we stay in?

What are the best touristy things to see/do in S'pore?

Any tips/recommendations/suggestions will be most greatly appreciated and welcome
