Smile Amenities

Hello again everyone. Thanks for all your earlier answers to my questions in regards to our accomodations. This cruise is for our 30th Anniversary and we really splurged to get a suite (St Lucia) at the back of the ship. This is something we have saved for years to afford. I want it to be perfect. So please allow me to pick the brains of you fellow cruisers who have cruised many times.
It says in our amenities list that we get "expedited embarkation process" what does this mean?
Also Complimentary use of Thermal Suite in the Lotus Spa, what does this mean?

Are there any other amenities we get that I should make sure we receive from those of you who have traveled before?
Thank you everyone in advance for your help.
Linda

Never have cruised in suite .

Probably for my 35Th Ann or 40Th year withe same employer (Both in the same year) I might splurge on a suite to Alaska or Panama Canal.

Hi Linda, the expedited embarkation process means that you will jump the queue at check-in - just make sure that you tell whoever is sorting the queues that you are a Suite passenger, and they should send you down a different lane.
You will most likely be entitled to use the Elite Disembarkation lounge at the end of the cruise as well, which is usually one of the show lounges to give you more space, and where you can get drinks and snacks until you are called to leave, plus daily newspapers.

Any reply to the Lotus Spa question would only be a guess, so I'll leave that for others who know for sure.

Happy New year,

Alan & Katrina

Talking Suite privileges

Yes, suite passengers get the same treatment that Platinum do at check in -- your own line and personal attention of a dedicated agent. It can speed things up, especially if you arrive when the lines are long. You also get your choice of disembarkation times.

The Thermal Suite is marvelous! We just used it on our trip to Hawaii and I put some pictures up at http://bully4.us/hawaii.html. Check it out.

You will love the suite. Have a GREAT cruise!

Thank you MM for adding the link for your cruises. I enjoyed the Hawaiian picks since that is where we are headed in April, but out of SF. It looks like you have had many wonderful memories on your crusies.

Great review Mike, thanks. It didn't read like a travel brochure, more like you were telling it!
