Coral Princess: Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse
It seems Coral Princess has a different twist on the traditional steakhouse. Bayou Cafe is listed as New Orleans cuisine. I have heard there is some pretty tasty food down in New Orleans. Can anybody provide feedback on this specialty restaurant.

I got this from the Princess web site. Sounds pretty interesting. I have to say, though, that even Carnival has started adding things like gator fritters, frog legs and other things to their menus. Anyway - this is how they describe the restaurant below:
Passengers are able to enjoy jazz music along with traditional Cajun and Creole-infused dishes in the very first New Orleans restaurant at sea, the Bayou Cafe. Dishes such as peel-and-eat shrimp, smothered gator ribs, seafood gumbo, chicken and chorizo jambalaya, and N'Awlins crawfish "mud bug" bisque make this a truly unique dining experience. Thanks Paul,
I had to do some hunting to get to the same page. Navigating from the ship's page wasn't getting me there. |
