I spoke to the Radisson folks and they told me that Song of Flower isn't up for sale. So glad, since this is one of my favorite ships afloat, a jewel of a 197 passenger vessel with some of the best itineraries in the world.
Thank goodness, it's a wonderful little ship and it would be a shame to change it.

I was on the Song of Flower in June and was told that they would continue booking cruises for the next 4 years. After that she would be for sale. That will be a sad day. I have been on 7 SOF cruises. She is a beauty.
Beth - I have never sailed on her, but I have certainly been hearing about her my entire cruising life (over 18 years since my first cruise to Tahiti on Royal Viking Line). I really am looking forward to the day when I can say I'm going on Song of Flower.
I am planning to cruise on Song of Flower in February from Bangkok to Hong Kong. It will be the first time completely separated from my business in 20 years I hope)!
We're planning to spend 5 days in Bali beforehand. Due to the fact that on a previous trip to Europe I found myself on the phone to the States at all hours, my clients are being told I will be unavailable. I do, however, need to find out if there is any email access on this ship in case it becomes essential. Can any of you help?
Do you know if Song of Flower has any email possibilities? I really need to know in order to plan contact with my office in case of an emergency.
And I admit that I'd love to know why you like this particular ship so much. I will be traveling on her in Feruary from Bangkok to Hong Kong.
Any info from someone so familiar with this ship would be so very appreciated.
The Song of Flower finally had a computer in the card/library area in June. There was talk of getting Internet connection, but none at that time. The South China Sea cruise was wonderful and I found Vietman to be one of the most beautiful countries. I still have some wonderful mental visions of sailing down the Saigon River.
