Default Mariner promotion change

We are booked on Mariner on 12/9 in G class. I just got a notice that they are now offering one class upgrades on all D-H classes for new bookings as of 9/7. Does this mean that I have to cancel my booking or is there a way to get Radisson to give me the upgrade as well? Thanks.

Check with your TA..but don't be too concerned. The cabins are the same, just a different location. Haven't heard of anyone getting a upgrade to a bigger cabin. We are booked for the Nov 15, Big Easy cruise.

Smooth sailing

My TA was told that If I want to take advantage of the promotion, it would cost me $100 cancellation fee pp.
It is a shame to be penalized for booking early. I have always booked a couple of weeks ahead of time before and have been upgraded and received great deals. I will never book ahead again.

Might want to talk to RSSC. I booked a guaranteed H class suite, was put in a D class without saying anything. Booked late so being low on the list obviously didn't matter. Only difference between D H cabins is the deck you are on. Higher must be better. The closet in the G - H cabins looked different.

How did you find out you were upgraded?

Are you on the 12/2 or 12/9 sailing? RSSC says that the 12/9 doesn't have guarantees -- only the 12/2 sailing.

I would think that there is more movement on higher decks. We are booked on G category Dec.27th. on Mariner. I would like to get info on the Ecuador and Peru ports. Their tourist boards do not have e-mail and travel books do not have much.
