Diamond is a wonderful ship. I sailed her in the Caribbean and have also booked her in the Med. That said, I would never book her without researching her first. Where are you sailing? When? What are your interests? How about your granddaughter's interests? Diamond is a very unique ship. Around 300 pax full. Your granddaughter will be one of very few children. The ship is slow; sea turtles pass her by. The ship rides wonderfully; no rocking and rolling.
Please make sure the ship is right for both of you before booking. It is really disheartening to read post after post where people are researching the ship after they have already booked.
Feel free to ask any specific questions you might have.
Thanks for the reply... I have sailed on Song of Flower and like the attitude of the line... I only like the small ships and we would like to do the Italy cruise.. Starting in Venice ending in Rome. to give us extra time in both cities.. I dont want the craziness of the large ships and this "new" Club Voyager seemed to fit...I hope we arent to soon in the
program for other teens. the line doesnt seem to advertise it
I just sailed Venice to Rome, on the Voyager. It was wonderful. Ask away if you have any questions on specific ports and Radisson shore excursions. We will be sailing the Diamond from Athens to Istanbul next year.
