Have booked Penthouse C, room 915 on the Mariner. It seems to be by a stariwell. Does anyone know if this particular suite would be too noisy with people using the stairs?
We were by the stairwell (albeit rear stairwell) on Mariner. No problem at all. Really convenient.

We've cruised every Radisson ship now in her fleet, and have found that things like elevators, stairs, and the like really don't matter very much. Their rooms seem so much better sound insulated than most lines. The only "noise" lesson we have learned on Radisson is DO NOT book the suite right below that part of the pool deck where the band plays! Still, that wasn't as bad as you might imagine.
We went to Alaska on the Mariner last summer and were in a Penthouse C suite. No problem at all with noise - either outside the door, from adjoining cabins etc.
Been on all the ships in RSS group.....never have found a noise problem. Only noise we ever experienced was on the RD when the veranda door was slammed shut....solved this by booking on the top deck.
