Mark Conroy will step down as president of RSSC
Regent Seven Seas President Mark Conroy said he will step down as president of RSSC and become an executive advisor to both Frank del Rio [Prestige Cruise Holdings Chairman and CEO] and Kunal Kamlani [PCH President and COO] on a series of corporate-wide business strategies across both brands.
"While RSSC will always be a part of who I am, this is the right time for me personally to take a broader role in this exciting industry," wrote Conroy. Kunal Kamlani will assume the president role effective Jan. 31, 2013. Also Randall Soy will be promoted to Exec VP of Sales and Marketing at the end of January. Conroy wrote agents: "Recently, Frank, Kunal and I sat down to discuss how we could leverage the talent within the organization for the benefit of our brands: RSSC and Oceania Cruises. At that time, I also expressed my desire to be instrumental in shaping larger strategic initiatives while cutting back on the day-to-day responsibilities of running an international cruise line and the extensive travel that comes with the job." |
