Beverage Package?
 

Has anyone purchased the beverage package on the China tour? I am wondering if it is worth purchasing or whether it is better to purchase soda or bottled water as necessary. Does anyone have a recent price list?

On a recent Viking trip, the package included all the red and white house wine, jucies and drinks that you desired, and a pre and post dinner cocktail.

My wife and I are taking the China trip on Oct 20th.The bev pkg was $215 apeice for the 9 day river cruise when I first booked in Dec of 07,it has now risen to $299 at the end of June.Thats $590 for 2 people for 9 days.Now my wife and I like to have a few glasses of wine or a couple of cocktails but I think this is really excessive.I am going to pay as I go and I think we will come out ahead.This is a 15 day trip but the bev pkg only covers the river part from what I understand.
