Default Voyager Cruise

Hello everyone, we just got back today from our cruise on the voyager, and we had a great time. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the ship is just beautiful. We loved the Ice Show, infact I thought it was the best of the shows we saw. We had an Atrium Room, which was very interesting. We could watch all the parades from our room, and didn't have to stand with the crowds. My only fault with the room was that we couldn't tell the weather out in the morning because of course their is no outside window. But to our surprise it was also very quiet, no noise to distrurb your sleep, even though you are over the promanade. I would recommend that everyone take a travel clock, as there was no clock in the room, except on the phone, and that one is not lighted to be read. The Portofino restaurant was excellent, we enjoyed it, and we felt it was worth the 15.00 charge. We also enjoyed the Solarium Pool area, it was like being on a quiet out island, no loud music like the regular pool area. The lounges had covers on them, nice touch...I guess you could say we were really very pleased with the ship, and look forward to going on another cruise in the future. If any one has any questions about the Voyager, please e-mail me and I will be happy to answer them...Cheryl

Sailing VOTS on 11/12. If you have time, I have the following question:

- Is Portofino suitable for children? If so, are the children charged $15 each as well?

I think it depends on the age of the children, I would not suggest it for a child under 12, and I don't know if they would even like the food. I don't know about the charge for children, the night we were there there were no children in the restaurant, and I do think it is really for adults only. But certainly your travel agent can check this for you, or you can call RCCl yourself. They are very helpful with questions. We loved this ship, and having cruised several times before, I would say that this was the nicest ship we have seen. the food was the best, and the activities were endless. We had the best time, and can't wait to go again. Hope I helped answer your questions...Cheryl
