We are sailing on the Grandeur December 16, and with the exception of 2 other families we met from the "Meet onboard" message board from here, we seem to have the ship to ourselves. That might be good, never have to get up early to get a chair by the pool. :-)
I thought I had the ship to my self too on 12/02/00 but it was just about full. The reason......about half of the passengers were Puerto Ricans. Met two very nice ladies who told us a lot about the new Governor. SHE is the first woman governor on the island. Have a great cruise.
Well Donna, we can't wait. I never thought we'd actually get out of an inside cabin in the hull of the ship (), much less actually get to a balcony After all those nights of endlessly listening to others talk about their balconies in the cruise cafe...I finally bit the bullet and got one for ourselves I can't wait to go and try it out and see what everyone is talking about!
Judy, Now that you are back, will we be seeing a trip report soon? How was the food? Did you have to tender ashore at St Maarten? What time did you get to board the ship in San Juan? We are arriving the day before and want to get onboard as soon as possible.
REALLY happy that you had a good time in the discover scuba experience. I did my discover scuba in a pool that was only 5 1/2 feet deep, but it was enough to get me to want to do it, and now I'm certified and can't wait to dive in that warm water.
