The best bet in St. Thomas is diving/snorkling at coki beach using the Coki beach dive club http://www.cokidive.com/. If you are interested in doing the Discover Scuba experience, they are great and you will save $49 compared to the ship excursion price. They will pick you up at the dock for free and they even have a program for the kids ages 8-10 called bubble maker where they get to try the scuba thing under the guidence of an instructor. All very save and easy. I'm a diver and we went there just so my son could try it too. He loved it. There are many fish to see.
Have fun, Bruce

Bruce's post in St Thomas sounds great. However we did the Sail and Snorkel on Buck Island and it was wonderful. You are on a sailboat with only 5 other people. You sail to Buck Island and snorkel on a guided snorkel (the first mate points out fish, etc and tells you what they are). It was nice being with a small group. If you do this ask for the Love Knot with Captain Harry and first mate Larry. It is a 48 foot sail boat and he is wonderful!!! We could have stayed all day on it!

We didn't do any excursions in Labadee or San Juan (my husband had a stomach bug that day) but did the Blackbeards Cay in Nassau. We wanted a day to be lazy at the beach and this was good for that.

Have a blast!!!
