Default Wedding Cruise

Hi Everyone-

My fiance and I are planning our wedding on board a Royal Caribbean ship for Feb 2002. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this or with working with the "Royal Romance" wedding coordinators? ANY info is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!!

Hi Delinda,
My fiance and I are getting married in May 2001 in St. Thomas via Explorer. The coordinators at RCL are very helpful and the whole process has been very easy. I have corresponded with 2 other girls who were married on the Explorer and both said it was wonderful!!! There are some other independent companies you can use in St. Thomas (as well as other locations) for the wedding but we opted for using Royal Caribbean for the wedding b/c we have about 30 people going with us and I felt it would be easier that way. I have been told that Royal Caribbean does some special things for you on the ship if you are getting married.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help if I can.

Heather

My daughter was married in November on St Thomas. She could have been married on board the Grand Princess but chose to get married on shore at Bluebeards resort on the beach. The wedding could not have gone better. It was coordinated by " A wedding for you" @ www.aweddingforyou.com.

Check out their web site for details and pictures. You know how fathers worry. However, this wedding went beyound our expectations. We had the first wedding of the day and had 14 people in the wedding party. There was time after lunch for the girls to get in that all important shopping trip.
