I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it still costs extra for the rock climbing and skating on the voyager. Also, what food place charge extra? We are not going until 2/17/2001, but am excited already.
They do not charge for rock climbing or skating. They even provide special shoes and skates. Portofinos is the restaurant that provides alternitive dining at an additional charge I believe it is $25 now. Any way since your leaving 2/17/2001 yould would already know this and had a great time. kidding ya, you must mean 2002 :-) We are going in September and the Explorer looks like a blast. We are just back from Voyager. No charge for the rock climbing wall. I do recommend booking your slot at 1:00 on the departure Sunday while the ship is still quite empty. I waited until the bookings opened for the latter part of the week - at 3:00 on wednesday. I got in line at about 3:10 and waited in line for an hour. This booking was the only inefficient operation on board all week.
Portofinos charges $20 per person additional. We did not eat there but our dining table companions who did were effusive in their praise.
