Default Atrium cabins and noise?

Has anyone ever had an atrium cabin on the Voyager? I wondered if they are noisy? Suggestions for alternatives. Also, any great travel sites that book Voyager at a good deal.

When we were on the Voyager (1-00) talked with people who had the atrium cabins and they said they were quite noisy.

I have heard that privacy is a bigger issue.

GEE, I HOPE NOT, WE HAVE TWO BOOKED FOR MARCH 31. STILL YOU DON'T SPEND MUCH TIME SLEEPING ANYWAY. WE BOOKED OURS WITH EXPEDIA.COM THEY GAVE US A GOOD PRICE. 17 PLUS AIRFARE. EVERYONE ELSE I CALLED WANTED OVER 2. THEY ALSO GOT MY DAUGHTER ON AT THE LAST MINUTE IN THE ROOM RIGHT NEXT DOOR FOR THE SAME PRICE. I USED THE 800 LINE, NOT THE INTERNET BOOKING. TICKETS CAME ALREADY AND THE AIR, HOTELS AND EVERYTHING WERE BOOKED THROUGH RCCL SO WE GOT ALL THE PERKS BUT DIDN'T PAY THE PRICE. I CALLED RCCL DIRECT , THEY QUOTED ME 25 FOR THE SAME THING.

Everyone who I've heard from that has stayed in an Atrium-view cabin says they are great! No noise problem or privacy problem (just close the curtains). The only time they could notice the noise was during the parades in a cabin on deck 6, but they were sitting in their bay window watching the parade so it was not a problem. I think you will be fine! In fact, I might just book one myself :-)
