Default Vision suites- Explorers Club?

Dear friends,

Have just spent a frustrating time talking to RCCL. I have recently cruised the Radiance in a suite- they had the "Concierge Club" as an amenity for suites only.
I know that this is a service only available on the Voyager class ships. But wonder what the "Explorers Club" is on the Vision of the Seas- it is on the same deck with all the suites. RCCL told me at first that it is a bar! Then a supervisor told me again that it was a bar but only available to guests in Cat's A thru F. "If you want concierge service you have to go to the Crown and Anchor Club." I felt they had no idea what I was talking about.

Has anyone been on the Vision in a suite? And is this explorers club like an area reserved for those who book suites- where they serve pastries in the morning and cocktails in the evening? If it is RCCL sure likes to keep it secret!
Thanks nancy

The Explorers "Lounge" is a small area off of the Atrium that is open for all guests. It is a comfortable sitting area with a TV that shows the "View from the bridge"cam, speed, distance travelled etc...I think that they had "cigar night" there a couple of night where they would bring up a portable bar and sell drinks and cigars....This was available too all pax for a fee... ( It was free to just sit there) I hope this helps, it has been a couple of years since we were on the Vision Class ships.....
