I just rented one for my husband on Radiance (it should be the same) and it is $85/tux & $12/shoes. A bit pricey but it's one less thing we have to haul to Alaska. I thik it's worth it. We have done it before with no problems.

Hi There
We rented Tux and Shirts for my husband (I took shoes and socks). I think it was $85. It was wonderful to have the tux waiting in the cabin and it was a perfect fit.

Is that price for both formal nights? or do you have to rent twice?

Hi Maryb,
Thats actually the price for the whole week, so no, just one rental and you are set for the week, nice deal and much less packing and lugging.

As already noted by all, Tuxes are for week, come with two shirts and everything you need. I just wanted to add that I have been doing this for years now ( shhh price hasn't gone up either ) and have been very happy with service. Although I could have bought my own Tux three times over I enjoy not having to pack for two formal nights nor worry about wrinkled garmets for formal nights. My wife also makes good use of the additional suitcase space she inherits. They offer a black and white combo as well for a few dollars more, white dinner jacket for one of the evenings.

I ordered for my June Explorer sailing via internet which proved to be a waste of time since there is no confirmation via internet therefore you are advised to call thier 800 number the next day to confirm. I did and they had my order and went through all the measurements etc again anyway so why bother filling in internet form?

As I said, not cost effient if you cruise twice a year as I do but very convenient. BTW these are supllied on ship from a supply shipboard so any size change or other problem can be handled onboard without difficulty since there is a good supply hand generally.

Just for informational chatting, the original company ( I would bet it has been sold off by now but who knows, same 800 number different name now ) was a small family business in Miami. When I used to call years ago I would often get a family member taking the order and would chat about the ship or weather etc. Wish I had thought of this business and been in Miami.
