Default Buffet break, lunch dinners on Royal Carribean?

I wanted input from anyone who has been on one of the newer ships from Royal Carribean. We are planning a trip on the Adventure of the Seas in December and my husband will not eat at the formal dinners. Other cruise lines we have been on have had buffet style breakfasts, lunch and dinners in a informal setting. Does Rayal Carribean have this? Some people that work at RC say yes, some say no. I am confused. Help! Your input is welcomed.

Yes, the Adventurer will have buffets on formal nights. But the formal dinners in the dining room are the ones NOT to miss. Let your husband do what he wants, but you go to the dining room!

The Voyager also had buffet style dinner in the Windjammer. Johnny Rockets was also available for dinner.

Hi Laura,
Yes, you can go and eat in the Windjammer cafe for informal meals. I actually thought the food there was quite good, enjoy.

I can't imagine why someone at RCI would say that there are no informal breakfast, lunch or dinner venues. That's basically what the Windjammer Cafe was created for and on the newest ships there are other dining venues such as Johnny Rocket's (Voyager & Explorer) and the Seaview Cafe (Radiance) etc. where you can eat in an informal setting. Solariums on the Vision class ships have burgers and pizzas available.

Is there a place for pizza and burgers on the Radiance?

Here's a great review of the Radiance that should answer your question. http://psp.club.tip.nl

When we were on the pre-inaugural three night cruise on Radiance in March, I remember seeing pizza and burger stations in the Windjammer on the port side as you headed out towards the open dining area aft . They weren't in operation at the time but I am sure they are fully operational by now. I believe that burgers were also on the Seaview Cafe menu. Ship is beautiful and I thought the expanded menu available in Windjammer was great.
