Default Cybercabin

My husband and I will be on Radiance of the Seas on 8/25. He would like to bring his laptop with him and go online. Our docs mention that there are ports in the cabins. Does anyone know if we connect online in our cabins, what the pricing structure is? Do they charge by ten minute increments, by the hour/day or is there a flat fee for the whole trip?

We are in a category E2 cabin.

Thanks.

Hi Pooks,
Yes, if you have a laptop, you can connect in your cabin, you will also need a modem. The price was for the whole week, believe it was around $100 and that was unlimited use, not a bad deal :-)

Thanks, Donna.

I'm jsut curious, do you know how much it costs to go online at Royal Caribbean Online? What are the time increments that they sell?

Hi Pooks,
Are you referring to the internet cafe in the business center? IF so I seem to remember it being around $7.50 for 15 minutes, and heard it was very slow, hardly worth the money, which can add up quickly. You may want to re-check that with your travel agent just to be sure.

CyberCabin is different for Voyager Class Ships(Voyager & Explorer) vs the new Radiance of the Seas... I have written detailed information about this on my websites that may help. Since Royal Caribbean is constantly changing policies, the information that I have may be somewhat obsolite but I am sure most of it is accurate. Here are the sites:

<http://www.qwikfyx.com/explorer>
<http://www.qwikfyx.com/radiance>

Look for the reference to 'CyberCabin' on the page.

Hope this helps,

Mike

P.S. The site below is my new page that we will be using on our Sept. 15th sailing on the 'Explorer of the Seas':
