Mattresses on Grandeur of the Seas

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the mattresses are firm or soft? Hurts our backs if the mattress is to firm,so I may need to bring some padding.

We returned from the Grandeur on 19 October. Mattress was hard and lumpy.
