explorer ice skating rink

We will be sailing on the Explorer 2/21. My kids were wondering if they should bring their own ice skates and rollerblades. Anybody bring their own?????? Thank you, Cindy

You can bring your own if you want. There are times that the iceskating rink is only open to those that have their own skates. Just make sure you bring long pants - they are required for iceskating. I hope this helps!

We just got back from Explorer on 1/24 - my son who is 14 really enjoyed ice-skating, they give you ice skates - but require pants and socks. ENJOY!!!!!!!!

The Ice Skating on my 7 Day Cruise on the VOS was GREAT !!

45 min Skating Sessions were offered:
10am - 6pm on MONDAY ( While At SEA )
10am - 6pm on SATURDAY ( While AT SEA )

(Also it seemed they opened the Rink when we
had Raining Weather while Docked at a port)

I think there was a 11pm Session one night, but
I forget when it was.

Skate Rental is Free, they make you sign a Waiver,
and will only allow you to Skate if you have Long Pants
and Socks on..
