Default RCL Vision of the Seas

My wife and two daughters age 16 and 7 are leaving on the RCL Vision of the Seas on 12/23 going to Cabo, Mazatlan and Perto Vallarta. This is the first cruise for all. Any tips or comments are appreciated.

Hi there - Check the reviews at Cruise @addicts.com and at Cruisecritic.com message board. There is a new posting on addicts as of today. I am traveling the week after you with my family. Have a nice trip!

I have alot of general info already if you have any specific questions.

There are a number of reviews of the Vision in our Member's Review Area. She's a beautiful ship, and also an excellent family ship.
A Christmas sailing on her should be lots of fun.
While the Mex Riviera is not my favorite itinerary. I really enjoyed Cabo san Lucas.
Since it's your first cruise you might want to read my series of "What to Expect".. Part 3 is on our home page now.
Here's the link.. u may want to begin by scrolling to the bottom, and start at Part 1, which was actually posted awhile back <G>

We were on Vision in October for a Panama Canal cruise. The ship was great overall and there was always plenty to do, Bingo, Trivial Pursuit, Pool Volleyball, movies, casinos, drinking, entertainment, and of course eating....food was always, and I mean ALWAYS available....breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, midnight buffetts, and 24 hour room service.

Have a good time!

Vision is one of my favorite ships. It's beautiful and the service is excellent, especially in the dining room. I thought the activities rate a 10 out of possible 10 (this was on an Alaska cruise, so we're not even talking about pool activities which could only add to the enjoyment. The "headline" entertainment wasn't so hot but I really loved the piano lounge. Cabins were very comfortable and roomier than the older RCCL ships. I think everyone will have a great time.
