Default Explorer Inaugural Book

When the Explorer of the Seas first entered service, the inaugural book was distributed to the passengers. This is a hardcover book that details the design and construction of the ship. I believe these books were placed in the cabins. Recent Explorer cruisers, are these books still available onboard?

Thanks

Hi Chuck,
Yes, when we were on Explorer last year, they still had them in the cabins. In fact my daughter went on one of the press cruises of Explorer when she was in New York and brought one home, she thought they were for that purpose??? So, I do have one here if there is something in there you wanted to know about, let me know, take care,

Donna

I was on Explorer in December and did not see them.

When we were on the Millennium they had them (a year ago) and asked our cabin steward about them. He told us to take it home with us.

You can find these books listed on EBAY for around $20. I got one to give to my son and his fiancee who are getting married on the 4/20 Explorer sailing.
