Go to the Vancouver Aquarium, it is very nice and is in Stanley Park. The Horse Buggy rides there are pretty cool too. We really enjoyed Vancouver, but there were more panhandlers there than I had seen in a while. We tried to eat at a sidewalk cafe and finally had to move inside because we were approached so frequently
I love the Waterfront Centre Hotel. Call them and try to get one of the rooms with corner windows that look out towards the water. Its really worth the price and effort. If you do get one, wait until you see the window in the bathroom.
