Default Christmas cruises

Has anyone been on a cruise over a holiday period? We are going on The Enchantment sailing 12/22. I was just wondering if they change the itinary at all? According to the present itinary, we will be in port on Christmas day. Will there be anything to do in port?

Hi Maja,
We cruised over New Years this year and were also in port that day, St. Maartens, and one side was open for business, but the other side was not. Good chance a lot will be closed on Christmas day What port will you be at that day?

I was on the Majesty of the Seas over Christmas and New Year's. We were scheduled to be in Nassau both of those days, but they switched them to "Days at Sea."

However, about four years ago when I was on the Song of America....we were in a Mexican port for both holidays. Probably depends on the port.

Our first cruise was a Christmas cruise on NCL, and we were in Nassau on Christmas Day. Very little was open.

We are scheduled to be in St. Martin. I'll call NCCL to check to see if the itinary will be changed. Thanks!

I cruised Enchantment of the Seas over Christmas 2000 and LOVED it. I had an amazing time. Our cruise left Christmas Eve and we were actually at sea Christmas Day so I'm not sure what there will be to do while at port. I just wanted to let you know that the ship was wonderful and I would definitely love to take Enchantment over Christmas again. It was a great experience!
