what time do you think we will disembark from the radiance in harwich? also, how long will it take to get from harwich to london and should we take the cruise transportation to the airport? also, will an 11:30 a.m. flight be doable if we get off early?thanks chuck
There's only a couple parts of your question I can answer. Hope someone else can help you with the rest of them.
I did a European cruise in 1998 that ended in Harwich. I had used the cruiseline's air program so I already had transfers. However, if I remember correctly, it was about a 3-hour drive (by bus) from Harwich to London. It seems like we were off the ship quite early so we could leave around 7:00-7:30. Not sure how it's all working now.
Yes....I would purchase the ship transfers. I'm thinking an 11:30 a.m. flight might be a bit early, but someone else can probably give you a more definite answer.
I too used the cruise line air-sea package. It is definitely a 3 hour bus ride from Harwich to London. At the time they had us on a 2:30 flight out of London. I think that with all the added security, that you had better reconsider and book a flight with some time to spare. Enjoy your cruise,
