Disembarkation - Enchantment of the Seas

I am trying to schedule a flight home from Fort Lauderdale after an eastern caribbean cruise on Enchantment. All on of my previous cruises I've been off the ship "early" like it on not. My TA is telling me that an 11:15am flight may be cutting it close but would be "do able" would appreciate comments from recent caribeen cruisers using the Fort Lauderdale airport.

In my opinion it is do-able, but you are at some risk. We flew out of Ft Lauderdale in Feb with a 11:30 flight and made it. To make sure we made the flight we did several things. We got the earliest possible debarkation tags. We were ready to go when they called out color debarkation tag. We had all of our luggage marked with bright flourescent tape for easy identification. We took the first cab possible once we got our luggage. We had all travel documents and luggage ready for inspection and easy to reach to help thru the airport. We made the flight with about 45 minutes to spare. We could have cut in line at the check in line gate if we had been running behind.
Once again, it may be doable, but if things go wrong, there is a possibility that you could miss the flight.
