Default Brilliance of the Seas 7/15 or 7/22

If you are sailing on the Brilliance of the Seas cruise on July 15 or July 22 and booked your airline reservations through Royal Caribbean I would like to know your departure city to London, name of the airline and scheduled departure time and arrival time back in the U.S. We have booked the Brilliance of the Seas for the August 28 cruise with departure out of Philadelphia and we were trying to get an idea of what type of connections we would be safe with in Philadelphia. I realize that if you are leaving from Chicago, Kansas City, Boston, etc., it will be different but if I can figure out what airlines they are using and approximate times it would be of a great help.

We are on the 7/22 cruise from Harwich.

We are flying to the UK (from LA) four days before sailing.

It sounds from your message that you are trying to cut it close. Although you didn't ask, I suggest you go to London at least one day prior. The airplane is delayed, you miss the ship. Happens all the time, Why run the risk of missing a connection when you can book a night in London via Priceline for very little money?

Besides, London is a pretty good place to spend a few days if you can.

We're cutting it close. Didn't book air thru RCCL for the July 22. We leave San Jose on morning of July 21, arrive Londoin Gatwick at 8:55 am July 22. If we miss the ship we will meet her the next morning in Le Havre.

You should be OK if the airplane is reasonably close to sceduled arrival time.

I don't know if you're planning to use the RCI transfer service @ $65 each way. It isn't cheap, but it's a lot more convenient than taking the train to Victoria Staion, a taxi to Liverpool Street staition, and then the train which leaves at 12:25 PM for Harwich. By the time it's all over you're probably spending about the same.

The RCI bus service operates until 11:30 AM.

We'll be driving in to Gatwick from Bristol on the morning of the 22nd and then making a connection to the bus.
