the voyager and radiance class ships have "cyber cabin" service..if you bring your laptop, you can have connectivity from your cabin for $100 for the week..no extra charges. it will work like a dial up..the purser will give you everything you need, including a phone to replace the one in your cabin with one with a data port. Reports are that it works pretty well.

I have heard the cyber cafe has some limitations on the sites you can visit...like you can just pick up your e-mail at hotmail and yahoo and go to AOL, etc. it seems like people talk about spending an average of $7-8 per visit...but I think the rates can be found at the RCI web site.

On my previous cruises, the Internet Cafe rates were 50 cents per minute, if you'd rather go that route than bringing your laptop aboard.

Yup, it is 50 cents a minute...so if you are planning on more than 3 and half hours of internet access, CyberCabin is worth it...

I'd burn up an hour a day in e-mail myself..so definitely doing Cyber Cabin...

Does anyone know the availability of Cyber Cabin? I will be on Voyager in August and have heard that they don't have very many of the kits, especially considering the number of passengers on board. Has anyone had any experience with this? Patty
