Default Does anyone pre-order wine?

Hi,

Does anyone pre-order wine from the Royal Caribbean web site? Is there an advantage to doing it that way, rather than purchasing bottles of wine on the ship for dinner or stateroom service?

Thank you for your help.

Rick

Hi Rick, I always pre-order a bottle to be in the cabin upon embarkation...like to have a little Bon Voyage 'celebration' while I get settled in! Just like to spoil myself and feel special...!!!

Thank you Len.

I decided to go with the "special champagne package" (one bottle upon embarkation, and one during dinner of the last evening) and a wine and cheese tray. We'll probably buy wine on the ship for dinner on most other nights... We like our wine!

Thanks again,
Rick

Rick, They have a wine package with a bottle at dinner each night. I don't know details though and will start my research on that next. I'm researching ports and excursions now.. 2 1/2 months to go! Debbie

ship), or from your sommelier (Wine Steward). Guests will
receive one (1) bottle of our fine wine each evening of
their cruise.
Price List:

04 day cruise: $62.00
05 day cruise: $77.00
07 day cruise: $109.00
08 day cruise: $124.00

Wow. Thanks for the information! That package sounds very nice, and reasonably priced as well.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks again for sharing,
Rick

I got the champagne pkg too! Item# 820 for $29.95 not a bad deal. Since I am taking my parents who are not BIG drinkers, but enjoy a glass of wine or champagne once in a while I think they will like this 'little' surprise!

Have also used Wine package and it worked out well. Assuming policy the same as a couple of years ago, we could get the wine anywhere we dined except the specialty restaurant. When we got towards the last few days of the cruise (a 12 night trip) we knew we did not want to lug the remaining bottles home, so we ordered champagne for the cabin. Only needed to let them know early in afternoon while wine steward still on duty because he is one who keeps track of the bottles you use.

We also ate dinner in cabin one night, exhausted, and got a bottle with dinner.

You could also use it in the buffet if you had dinner there, or at lunch time if you so desired.
