Default Nassau dolphin swim..

Could anyone tell me about the dolphin swim excursion in Nassau Bahamas? I know that there are two different types, the swim and the encounter. I'm looking to see how much actual interaction and time you have in the water and if anyone thinks this is worth $140. pp. Thanks!

Hi Don, we are going on the explorer, Nov.2, and we were thinking of doing the same excursion...I asked on the board, and got one reply and they said it was great...I think we are foing to do the encounter, since I am a little hesitant about the other...When are you sailing and on what ship???...Cheryl

Cheryl, we are sailing on 10/6 on Soverign of Seas. Thanks for the info. If you hear of anything else, I'd love to know! ..... Carol, have you done either of the dolphin excursions? If so, did you feel it was worth it? Thanks again

I have a friend that just spent a week at Atlantis. They did the dolphin swim and she felt it was the highlight of their vacation. Her kids just loved it. She said that the actual time they were "swimming" was about 1/2 an hour. I guess it is up to you to decide if you feel that is worth it. They bought the video but I haven't seen it yet. Hope this helps!!

Jean, thank you for your input. I have heard from a few people that feel the swim is definately worth the extra money as opposed to the encounter. Thanks again!
