I know this has been brought up before, but wondered what specifically is Royal Caribbean's stance on people bring some (not a lot) of soda aboard (cans)? Has anyone had experience of this? Smuggle it in carry-on luggage or keep in main luggage in hopes that it doesn't explode
To ease my stomach, I like to drink ginger ale and would like to have a few cans with me.
Or has anyone been able to bring on a large supply of soda on board?

You'll have no problems taking sodas onboard as long as you don't unload a truck at the docks and set up a sales booth on deck <G>
You can carry it on openly, or let the staff deliver it with your luggage. Whatever you choose. We normally put some in a seperate sports/duffle bag, and have it delivered with the luggage.
Like Kuki, we also bring a sport/duffel bag for cokes ( I can't have caffine and the ships usually don't have decaf Coke, Real Coke) I also pack with the cokes, bottled water. We drink, a lot, I mean, A LOT, of water, so that single bottle in the cabin doesn't do it!.
We usually take one of those little suitcases on wheels - the ones for one person and it is perfect to put 2 twelve packs in. Then on the way home it carries my souveniers. Debbie
what about beer. is it possible to get on board with that? we are going in oct. on monarch and are arriving day before so buying beer, water and cokes wouldnt be a problem . we would only have to pack for loading on the ship.
