We are about to reserve the deck 6 aft DB cabins on the Voyager (4 of them). Pictures that I have just viewed seems to show obstructions to the view from those cabins. Does anyone know if the aft deck 6 cabins have good or obstructed views and are those cabins actually at the very end of the ship? It seems that after the balcony railing the deck still extends another 20 to 30 feet aft??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Ron P
Deck 7 would be a better choice if you want the balcony to be like a balcony. On deck 6 there is, in fact, a large deck extension beyond the balcony railings. Said deck is the same level as the cabin/balcony floor, so the railing only seperates you from the deck beyond (not really a balcony at deck 6).
I have photos from our cruises on Voyager, Explorer & Adventure. All were full aft cabins, deck 7. After being there I would never book full aft deck 6.
Also, as you know there are 4 aft DB's available. The outside corner's, at deck 7, are twice as wide (see photo). This does not occur at deck 6, or any other deck.
