Default Sending email from the ship

When you use the computers that are set up on the Radiance or any other RCCL ship to send email messages can you access any Internet based email service? eg. yahoo, excite etc. or is there a specific one that you have to be signed up for ahead of time in order to send mail? I have a second email address already with Excite. Just wondering if I would be able to access it on the ship's computers?

I have AOL and had no problem accessing my email and sending out emails. It is expensive though - 50 cents per minute. I was on for 20 minutes and paid $10.00. As you know, time goes very fast while on the internet, so gather your thoughts before sitting down and you can save some money. You may want to jot down what you are going to write before getting on the computer so entering an email will go quicker. I don't have a digital camera but people who did were able to send pics back home right away. Very cool.

Hi Sailaway,
Also, you can find internet cafe's in the ports and use them, usually you can be on for an hour for around $5, much cheaper. In most cases they are located near the piers so you can spot them easily.

Thanks ITCH4 and Donna for your useful information. Does anyone happen to know if any of the ports in Hawaii have the type of internet cafes that Donna mentioned.

Sailing away to Hawaii next! :-)
